Welcome, Volunteers!

Volunteers are vital in the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s mission of connecting neighbors with nourishing food. Whether you provide administrative support, pack food boxes, or sort donations, volunteers are deeply appreciated and help us ensure every neighbor has enough food everyday.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES 

Volunteer opportunities for both our Athens and Clayton branches are provided below. We recommend that large groups schedule their events 8 weeks in advance to ensure a time slot. We cannot guarantee time slots for events on short notice.

Please note that we do not offer court-mandated community service.

   2. Click on the opportunity that you would like to participate in below. First-time volunteers will be prompted to create a profile with Bloomerang Volunteer. Volunteers must be registered through Bloomerang Volunteer to receive credit for their hours.
