The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s Family Hunger services are a group of programs designed to alleviate the daily threat of hunger for food insecure families in the community. These programs include the Feeding a Family and Stock the Pantry programs.

Feeding a Family

The Feeding a Family program works in conjunction with the Food 2 Kids program in order to help provide additional food to the families of children who experience hunger. Once a month, the Food Bank places a voucher in the Food 2 Kids bags that families can redeem at their local food pantry. This program has helps provide supplemental food to over 900 families per year.

Stock the Pantry

The Food Bank partners with Habitat for Humanity to provide food to families who secure housing through Habitat’s services. This program helps alleviate food insecurity caused by a family’s housing situation.
