Partner Distribution

This is our primary form of distribution, we work with around 200 soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, churches, and other non-profit hunger relief organizations. These partner agencies are located throughout our 14 county service area in northeast Georgia.

The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia provides our partner agencies access to millions of pounds of food they might not otherwise have. Agencies gain access to food either through our online inventory system or by selecting items from our shopping floor.

The online inventory system provides the bulk of the food distributed. All items are ordered in case or pallet-size quantities. The shopping floor provides supplemental food and is a lot like a grocery store allowing partner agencies to hand select food from the shelves or pallets of miscellaneous product. This food is then distributed food free of charge to those in need through our over 200 partner agencies. Through this model we distributed 6,174,596 pounds of food this year or approximately 5,145,496 meals.
