Food Bank Staff

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Jacob moved to Athens in 2018 to pursue his Masters of Public Administration at the University of Georgia. He has proudly called the Classic City home ever since. Jacob serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, where he guides the day-to-day accounting, human resources, and operations activity. With a focus on data-driven decision making, he brings experience in project management, public health, and sustainability to bear in pursuit of a future in which every neighbor has enough food every day. Jacob enjoys traveling and tabletop gaming, but can most often be found hiking, camping, or kayaking in the Northeast Georgia mountains alongside his wife, Bradie.
